A little piece inspired by @martynamakes design work. These are a couple of things that currently live in my mind rent-free.
I designed an original piece for the UCSD Chinese Studies Department’s Lunar New Year Contest. Inspired by Chinese New Year cartoon characters and decorations, I created a scene where Sun God (a UCSD mascot) rings in the new year with the Ox to convey hope that Sun God will bring good fortune and prosperity to UCSD students and faculty.
I conducted a global survey in 2019 among UJUNGs, the fandom for K-pop girl group WJSN/Cosmic Girls. The survey was open for 7 days on Google Forms. I compiled the data from auto-generated charts and individual responses to identify patterns and top responses.
I am an admin for @WJSNDaily, a Twitter fan update account for WJSN. I design layouts and graphic informational posters for the account. For each layout, I reference WJSN's official layout and the album's visual themes/aesthetic.
I created graphic design posters for the UCSD club organization, Fusion Dance Competition. Some of my designs were posted on their social media: @fusiondancecompetition.
I was a huge theater techie in high school and wanted to be a lighting designer. One career existential crisis later, I'm now a UX Designer with a love for theater!
